A tubular knob lock is a type of lock that uses a round, cylindrical key to secure a door. The lock mechanism is housed inside a cylindrical casing, which is mounted to the surface of the door. The key is inserted into the lock cylinder and turned to engage or disengage the lock.
Tubular knob locks are commonly used on interior doors, such as bedroom or bathroom doors. However, they are not as secure as some other types of locks, such as deadbolts, and can be vulnerable to picking and other forms of tampering.
